Nexans Morocco participated in the 5th General Conference of the Arab Union of Electricity

Marrakech hosted from 26 to 28 January 2016 an institutional enclave and experts from the Arab world. No less than 250 leaders of 22 Arab countries and guests from Africa and Europe. This conference organized by the Arab Union of Electricity (UAE) and ONEE is a platform for dialogue and sharing strategies and experiences through conferences, panels and a B2B exhibition area where Nexans Morocco presented its achievements in renewable energy materials.
Under the theme "Equilibria between traditional, new and renewable energies in the energy mix of power systems", the debate has essentially put the item on the future of power generation based on fossil energy, renewable energy integration as well as the role of nuclear energy in the energy mix.
After the Congress of Marrakech, the UAE made a series of recommendations, regarded as a roadmap for the coming years.
