Description

During FTTH deployments, where an extraction vertical cable is installed, the Mini-RouteFloor is designed to direct the extracted fibres from the vertical cable, without splice, towards the subscriber’s flats.

Main functions
Once the window on the vertical cable has been made, and when the fibres are extracted:

Direct and fix the vertical cable
Protect the vertical cable & its fibres
Coil & protect the extracted fibres
Fix the distribution tubes with the extracted fibres / Or / hold the splice protection
Ensure the radius of extracted fibres (routing)

Product usage

Engineering

The RouteFloor box is associated to a vertical cable which integrates N fibers, individually extractable.

Once extracted from the vertical cable, the fiber is re-injected into a distribution tube, or spliced to the drop cable.

Vertical cable management

The vertical cable is installed in the centre of the Mini-RouteFloor (several positions are possible), and fixed with 2 plastic ties.

Extracted fibers management

The extracted fibre is coiled in the centre of the product, and then routed towards any of the 8 possible directions (all at 90° from each other).

Tube / Splice protection

The tubes, or the splice protections, are fixed in the grooves (acting like combs) by simply pushing them into.

Maintenance

The fibre overlength allows to re-do a splice
