Hybrids and advanced propulsion systems

For new type of propulsion systems, such as electrical engines, hybrid propulsion systems, or fuel cell, Nexans has developed new cable solutions with a shielded insulation.

Furthermore Nexans has already developed very flexible shielded solutions designed for high temperatures environments and/or with Zero Halogen insulations. This type of insulation is not only environmental friendly but also provides a high fire safety standard.

Moreover, solutions with braid(s) on standard cables are also available.
