Presentation of Nexans Morocco’ 2017 Full-Year Results
Nexans Morocco held a press conference, on April 18th at Casablanca Stock Exchange, to present its 2017 full-year results.
Key figures and highlights:
- Sales up by 4.7% to DH1.6 billion, representing a 3.4 % organic decline at constant non-ferrous metal prices.
- Net consolidated profit of 12 MDH.
- Manufactuing operations in Ivory Coast starting in second quarter 2018.
- Dividend payment of 3 DH per share to be proposed to the General Meeting.
Despite the uncertainties concerning the current economic environment, Nexans' development initiatives, both in the local and export markets, should allow for Sales growth and operating income improvement in 2018.
